Our Mission

The Friends of Peacehaven Botanic Park Inc's mission is to work in cooperation with Toowoomba Regional Council to create and maintain a botanic garden that contributes in conserving biodiversity, increasing scientific and popular knowledge of our country’s native plants, particularly those of the eastern Darling Downs, and ensure Peacehaven is a place of peace and tranquillity for generations to come.

Next Working-bee

The Nursery

Open Thursday and Saturday mornings,
9 am to 12.30pm Friends of Peacehaven Inc are developing a specialist native plant nursery at the botanic park. Some of the plants are rarely if ever available in ordinary nurseries, and the volunteers are friendly and informative.

Location

Peacehaven Botanic Park is at 56 Kuhls Road Highfields on the eastern escarpment of the Darling Downs.
